Best Tips to Avoid Violating Google AdSense TOS
After getting AdSense, one of the biggest mistake that many bloggers made is the violation of AdSense Terms of Service. I have already told you that AdSense is really very strict about its Terms of Service and policies. So you should take care of many factors that can lead towards AdSense TOS violation on your blog.
First of all, as everyone know that applying and getting AdSense is not too much easy so you need to take care of many factors to keep your AdSense account always active and live.
In 2011 with the launch of Panda and then Penguin, Google wants high quality content for its Adsense users in order to display ads over it. Publishing low quality content on your blog can result your AdSense account getting banned or some other limitations. One of the main reason of AdSense ban is the invalid clicks which is in itself a big story.
Best Tips to Avoid Violating Google AdSense TOS:
This is one the main and biggest factor that can lead your AdSense account get banned. Mostly beginners when starts AdSense for the first time, they use to ask their friends to click over their ads. Some more intelligent bloggers even try to make Google fool by invalid clicks from different IPs (via proxies).
Since AdSense is very much strict in its policies and much more intelligent than you, any such activity if detected by AdSense can result your account getting banned. That’s I would recommend you to read AdSense policies.
Use of AdSense on a Blog whose language is not supported by Google:
Since AdSense is a contextual ad network, therefore it supports only some specific languages. So if you have an AdSense account that is approved, don’t use it at your any other blog whose language is not supported by Google AdSense guidelines. And if you are using your AdSense at your some such blog that does not qualify for the AdSense TOS, then you should make changes as soon as possible.
Mostly this happens when users try to make their blogs Multilanguage, which is a violation of AdSense TOS. This is the reason I removed the plugin named “Global Translator” some months ago from my blog. You can AdSense supported languages list here.
Maximum number of allowed ad units on a single page:
AdSense allows maximum 3 content ad units, which are available in these sizes, 728*90, 468*60, 234*60, 125*125, 120*600, 160*600, 180*150, 120*240, 200*200, 250*250, 300*250, 336*280, 3 link ad units which really performs well when they are matching with your blog color scheme and 2 AdSense for search ad units. Any violation of AdSense ad units policies can result your AdSense get banned.
Advertising Labels for AdSense Ads:
AdSense strictly hate those users who try to trick users by asking them to click here in order to get invalid clicks and some more advance users try to display ads in pop ups. This is a strict violation of AdSense TOS and should be avoided.
Changing the AdSense Code:
Changing the AdSense code in any condition is not allowed by Google. No matter how much smart programmer are you, Google will kick you off if he found you doing that? Again I would recommend you to read more AdSense TOS here.
Putting Copyright Content:
AdSense hate those users who uses AdSense on their blogs stealing others copyright content. Sharing other’s copyright content without their permission can result your account get instant ban.
Linking with those websites who are serving illegal and copyright content:
I came to know about this fact in 2011. And this is the main reason why mostly sites are getting their AdSense accounts ban. So if you are linking with such websites that are distributing pirated content, cracks, keygens, copyright content etc., you are most likely to gen ban soon or later. AdSense is not allowed on these type of websites.
- Adult websites
- Sites distributing copyright content
- Racial content
- Ammunition etc.
Buying paid traffic on your AdSense approved website is strictly against AdSense TOS. Also I would like you to read AdSense Quality Landing Page Guidelines which will just give you an idea what type of page AdSense expects from you.
