
Samsung to Launch Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G on March 16
Samsung is teasing the launch of two new Galaxy A series phones on March 16 at 12 PM IST (2:30 AM ET). The company has also sent out a press note to select publications announcing the launch of the Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G. Samsung India has already set up a registration page for the new mid-rangers, highlighting their various qualities.
Features and Specs
The teaser campaign for the new Galaxy A series phones highlights IP67 ratings, Gorilla Glass protection, blur-free low-light photos with Nightography, a No Shake camera, clearer voice call quality, four years of OS updates, and five years of security patches. Additionally, the company has also promised a smooth scrolling display, minimal bezels, and long-lasting batteries.
The Galaxy A54 5G is expected to feature an Exynos 1380 processor, while the A34 could get a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chip. The triple camera setup in the A54 could contain a 50MP primary camera with OIS, 12MP ultrawide shooter, and a 5MP depth sensor. Conversely, the A34 is expected to pack a 48MP main + 8MP ultrawide + 5MP macro setup. Both phones could get a 32MP selfie snapper.
The A54 could feature a 5,100mAh battery with 25W charging, while the A34 is expected to get a 5,000mAh battery. The RAM and storage variants aren’t known, but you can expect Samsung to start with 6GB/128GB base variants for both phones. You can also expect expandable storage on the two phones, just like their predecessors.
Launch Details
The Galaxy A54 and A34 will first launch in India before heading to other markets like the US, Europe, and elsewhere. However, Samsung could very well make the phones available everywhere on the same day.
