The latest trailer for Starfield was released alongside the game’s official release date announcement. While it doesn’t offer much in the way of new footage, it does provide a behind-the-scenes look at the game’s development process. You can check out the latest trailer on Bethesda’s official YouTube channel.

In addition to the latest trailer, there are several other Starfield trailers available on Bethesda’s YouTube channel. These trailers offer a glimpse into the game’s story, setting, and gameplay mechanics.

Starfield Gameplay

During the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase in 2022, we got our first in-depth look at Starfield’s gameplay. One of the most exciting features of the game is the ability to fully customize your protagonist. You can change everything from your character’s skin tone and hair color to their background and traits.

Backgrounds offer three starting skills each, while traits can shape your character’s personality. For example, choosing the “Extrovert” trait will give you more endurance when traveling with companions, while the “Introvert” trait does the opposite.

Ship customization is another exciting feature of Starfield. You can piece together entire sections of your ship, swapping out core components like cockpits and engines. You’ll be able to buy these components from vendors across different locations.

Starfield will use a first-person perspective for dialogue, and your character won’t be voiced. This is a departure from Bethesda’s previous game, Fallout 4, which featured a voiced protagonist that was widely criticized.

According to Todd Howard, Starfield will be 20% bigger than Bethesda’s previous games, such as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4. The main story alone will take an estimated 30-40 hours to complete.

Starfield is shaping up to be one of the most exciting games of 2022. With its customizable protagonist, modular ship customization, and first-person dialogue, it’s sure to be a hit with fans of Bethesda’s games. Starfield: A Grand Spacefaring Adventure

Bethesda’s upcoming game, Starfield, promises to take players on a grand spacefaring adventure across the vast universe, set 300 years into our future. In a recent interview with IGN, Todd Howard, the game’s director, revealed that Starfield will offer more quests than their previous games, with more handcrafted content than ever before.

Starfield Story and Setting

After a few initial missions, players will be invited to join Constellation, the last group of space explorers. The game’s protagonist will meet them in the United Colonies’ capital city, New Atlantis, tasked with searching for artifacts across The Settled Systems. Starfield takes place across 1000 fully explorable planets between 100 star systems, and four major cities. Including New Atlantis, we currently know about three of them.

Unsurprisingly, there are rival groups with separate goals, like the Crimson Fleet, who players will frequently clash with. Previous videos from Bethesda have also confirmed the existence of violent Spacers, ecliptic mercenaries, and fanatical religious zealots of House Va’Ruun.

Following a past war with the United Colonies, the Freestar Collective marks the other major faction within The Settled Systems, and both currently maintain an uneasy peace. Controlling three star systems, Freestar uses the walled Akila City as its capital, which keeps out “alien predators that are a cross between a wolf and a velociraptor.” Then we have Neon, a pleasure city created by the Xenofresh Corporation. Having created a unique psychotropic drug, Aurora, it’s now a popular tourist spot.

Starfield News

Starfield is set to be Bethesda’s biggest city yet, with New Atlantis offering all the services players would expect, including the ability to work on their ship. It’s also the headquarters for Constellation, the faction that players join as the last group of space explorers. The game’s director, Todd Howard, confirmed that there’s a clear ‘golden path’ to follow for those only interested in the main story.

Bethesda’s highly anticipated game, Starfield, is set to receive its own showcase in June. The game’s full release date has been announced, and a Starfield Direct has been scheduled for June 11, following the Xbox Showcase earlier in the day. In a recent interview with podcaster Lex Fridman, Todd Howard, the game’s head director, explained how the team at Bethesda embraced the “beautiful desolation” of Starfield’s massive open world.

Despite the game’s lonely setting, Bethesda is confident that this is exactly what players want. Fans are eagerly anticipating the release of Starfield, and the upcoming showcase is sure to generate even more excitement. Stay tuned for more updates on this highly anticipated game.
