Pixel Fold and Pixel 7a Pricing Leaked Ahead of Google I/O Conference
A recent leak suggests that Google will launch the mid-range Pixel 7a smartphone and the Pixel Fold foldable at the Google I/O conference in May. Reliable tipster Yogesh Brar has reiterated the May launch and also provided rough pricing information for these two phones.
Pricing Information
- The Pixel Fold could be priced at $1,300 to $1,500, which is $300 to $500 cheaper than Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 4.
- The Pixel 7a will retail for $450 to $500, which is in line with the Pixel 6a, but leaked specs suggest that it could have wireless charging and a high refresh rate screen.
The apparent Pixel Fold pricing could be the latest sign that foldable phones are coming down in price. For instance, Honor recently launched the €1,599 Magic Vs, which is €200 cheaper than the Galaxy Z Fold 4 in Europe. Meanwhile, budget-focused brand TECNO is offering its Phantom V Fold handset for Rs 90,000 (~$1088) in India, compared to the Z Fold 4’s Rs 155,000 (~$1,873) price tag.

Stay tuned for more updates on the Pixel Fold and Pixel 7a as we approach the Google I/O conference in May.
